Listening to: Hate To Say I Told You So
So alright. Today on the bus, Josh P. was like "What are you wearing? *points to my purple and black armwarmers*" And I was like, They're arm warmers, most obvious duh. And then Tori was like "Why do you wear them?" and I was like, because I want to.
This story has a point, I swear.
So, okay, as a joke, I was like "*pulls up armwarmers* I'm not emo, I swear."
Funny, haha. But anyways.
It wasn't funny. Because then Maegan and Tori started cracking jokes and I was like...
You haven't been there. You don't know what its like. You haven't been over the edge.
So...It was weird. I can't stand it when youth people start making fun of "emo" people. Like...when someone's upset about something, they're like "Oh, go be emo about it *makes cutting wrist motion*" And I just want to yell "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE! YOU DON'T KNOW! STOP IT!!!!"
Because they don't. Or they wouldn't make jokes. And they don't understand how people could be like that, because they don't know anyone who is. Therein lies the difference. I do. I know people. Two...three actually, of my best friends in this world were/are a cutter. Hell, I was practically one of them. What would they say then?
Would they still joke? They...I guess I just don't understand how some people could be so insenstive...
Seriously. They shouldn't joke about it like that. Its not something to be made fun of...
So how's that for random thought time with Katie? Just something that I had to get down in writing...Yeah. I guess I wanna know why they're so ignorant...Sort of.
