Listening to: Dashboard Confessionals : Hands Down
My Wesa came over to see me! Well, actually to come and get my locker card. It was one of those times where you could talk and talk forever with no real subjects and it would be entertaining...you know those type of convos you have when you sleepover. yeah, I miss those. I usually fall asleep in the middle of them. Resa's are definately interesting tho. It was fun. But then I had to go to SLC so I kicked her out of my house and she said eeeww as she kicked an ant invested grasshopper on my sidewalk. I thought it was attractive.
Anyways...I've decided many things because of this SLC trip...
I can't remember a lot of them...
But here's the general idea...
I want to take some wedding pics in the SLC area.....not on the temple grounds b/c I don't really wanna get married in the SLC temple. I want to get married in Logan...don't ask me why really...juss something I feel I should/want to do. I grew up near the temple might as well get married in it. I know there's a lot more prittier temples an' all, but I can go -visit- them when I'm married in the temple of my choice!
I'm making my hubby take me like on the 10th floor of that Joseph Smith building to eat for an anniversary or something special! Maybe even a reception in the Empire room! But that won't work b/c I'm getting married in Logan...hmmm...
And then for my 18th birthday I want to go around in a horse and carriage down in SLC and have a lil' tour!
I went like crazy wild woman with pictures while I was in SLC! I learned that they had "stone oxen" all around the baptismal font to represent the 12 tribes of Israel...and that Joseph had been instructed these kinds of details for the temple so that he could "properly redeem the dead"
I also got to read a letter Joseph sent Emma while he was in Liberty Jail...it was kinda mushy. He said something to the effect of "If the Lord spares my life again I would love and care for you once more" or something....something about "endevour to comfort you again" and "I wish I could be there with you now. I would sypathize with you." Some stuff like that I wish I could remember it correctly. It was kinda sweet.
Anyways, I'm juss so glad I went mainly b/c I would've prolly been bored today. I'm glad my day was occupied doing something useful and slightly educational. mwhahaha....And I got to take pictures and plan out more of the rest of my life! mwhahaa...romantical moments.
On the way down Marla Parker and Judy Merkely talked the first hour about trees. Yes, I said trees. I didn't know they knew so much about trees to talk about them for an hour. The last part of the trip they talked about houses...gardening..appliances mainly laundry washers....Then on the way back they talked mostly about traffic (we were in rush hour traffic) and then Judy told us stories about Dads leaving their children at rest stops in Odgen and not knowing about it until arriving home to Boise ID.
Afterwards we went to Fire House Pizza...That was Randi's fault. We got a 50% discount.
It was funny on the way back from SLC Linda pulled up next to us and they were all telling us to roll down the window. But Judy Merkley, being the bright one she is, didn't get the hint and waved to them an' all. She noticed they weren't passing her and asked what they were doing and I told her to roll down her window. She was already distracted and was driving kinda crazy. She managed to get her window down and the girls yelled things to her....while she was apologizing for passing them about an hour ago...*rolls her eyes* Such a sweet clueless lady. Like they could hear this quiet lady saying "Sorry we passed you a while back!" Then she noticed they were trying to tell her something slightly important maybe....So she yells out what she managed to hear from the girls "You're going to HYRUM?!"
I laughed and they had to pull away and catch up with traffic then I said, "They're going to Firehouse!" Then after -I- figgered out the whole message Lyn Manning had pulled over so I told Merkley to pull over ...and we agree to all go to FireHouse while Linda was on her way already...so we didn't have a choice. Yay!
So we all ended up at Firehouse Pizza and having two large pizzas of Pepperoni and Cordon Bleu Pizza! Mmm mm! That was good. Lyn couldn't eat it with the whole jaw wired shut situation. I ate soo friggin much! I was so shocked at myself! It's definately that time of month! I think even Derek would be proud/shocked/amazed! I had two breadsticks! I love those, I could juss forget the pizza and go for the bread! Then I had a piece of Cordon Bleu and a peice of Pepperoni and a glass of water! Yum yum! I can usually only eat one piece of pizza...and I don't usually finish a cup of water. I was shocked...and full! But it wasn't totally to the sick to the stomach full...which made it all worth it! Scrumpsish! Now I want to play with the pictures I took in SLC....I want to go swimming morrow but like that's gonna happen. And I want to go to bed also....
But now I hafta go to a very unimportant meeting now in which no one will be there...but I'll show up anyway.
I want to listen to music too.
Do you know how much I love the smell of rain?
The gray, stormy clouds above and only a trickle of rain? It could be pouring and I'd be happy. I love the lightning and thunder. I love spring weather. I love this! Almost no sun and it's kind of cool but not freezing. I want to go swing in the rain...
Rainy days and ...Tuesdays....
I getta see Derek morrow. It's weird b/c now I'm totally fine not seeing him...b/c I have so many other things I want to do to fill that gap. I'm making Derek watch Moulin Rouge sometime this week. I want to eat at Subway too.
I have to get up at 5 in the morning. What am I doing up??
