Listening to: Yellowcard - How I go
So this guy like cornered me on Trax. He went on about his hangover, his Najavo religion, his 24/7 work schedule, his lack of sleep, and his kids. Inbetween all that he asked for my age, name, and managed to slip a "Your beautiful" in about every 5 minutes. *sighs* He could see from my expression, finally, that I was not interested in any way. He asked if I had 'been turned off'. Haha, it wasn't even on to begin with, but yeah, it's off, never to come on.
Yes, him being a different color slightly, turned me off, talking about a hangover, turned me off, talking about his kids turned me off and shock, being asked if I had any kids turned me off. Seriously, wake up...
He asked me what I like to do. Mmmk, I dont think people like that understand the activities like "ice skating, movies, writing, camping (w/o beer), going for walks around the Temple.." Theres really no point in telling them what you like to do b/c its not like you do something -way- exciting. Do you get anywhere telling a hungover man something important to you? Not in my experience. So I basically told him I only do work and school. Then he asked if I was mormon. Oh boy. Here we go....
"What? You dont like me, dont wanna hang out with me b/c what, I'm a bad person?" blah blah...
Can't a girl say no, just because she can say no? Can't she say no without having a reason of religion or racisim or anything? Can't a girl just say no because she is plainly NOT interested in a guy?
NO, I don't wanna 'hook up' because I have a boyfriend!
My last straw was the 50th "your beautiful, ya know that?"
The kid next to me in class said that -all- girls like to be called beautiful. I almost murdered him right there. A) Depends on who says it B) Depends on how they say it, their intentions and C) Depends on how often b/c it can get irksome.
I went to the bus stop and this kid from Thailand stared at me the whole time. He didn't even see the bus coming til I was walking to it. Oy. Then he was brave enough to sit next to me. It was fun to watch him twitch nervously trying to create conversation with his broken english. He asked my name and I got his...some mumbo jumbo... By the end of the trip he had managed to communicate to me that he thought I was beautiful. Here we go again... Oy. I pulled the cord for my stop and he knew he had to work fast and asked for my number. Hahaha No. I wonder how quickly the term "boyfriend" would register with him.
I've determined that Adam makes me glow. Seeing him on the weekend makes me glow with happiness and love throughout the week. Like the star did on Stardust. Love shines on.
Phew....finally got the irksome out of my week. Now I can't remember what I was going to say about the first of this week. You have no idea how good it feels to get this out. I'm going crazy without my journal.
"Son I am not everything you thought that I would be
But every story I have told is part of me
Son I leave you now but you have so much more to do
And every story I have told is part of you"
