Help, please

I can't get a background image to show up. How do i do it?? =/ Somebody please help me out. *Edit* Grr ok i'm so mad! I took the advice given to me and renamed the picture my_background.gif AND i tried jpg but it's STILL not showing up. Do i have to do something else?? What do i click to make it show after i've changed the name? argg =/ OR is it just not showing up on my screen? does anyone see it? I guess i'm desperate lol. Help me!

rename the picture my_background.whatever [jpg or gif]
then it should work. =]

you know where the colors and stuff are, well if they are all on white them you can't see anything. take colors out if they have background in the name. you just leave the space blank.

you probally won't want to do this, but you could give me your pass, and i could try to fix it.
i understand if you don't wanna.
but tell me if you do.
it's not your source code, so be sure the pic uploaded correctly in image manager first. also, the image must be in jpg or gif format before uploading
