Demon Magic- Vampire Story

Let's start with your apprentice your 5'4"/5'5" with lavender eye's and midnight black hair. Your name is Roslyn (nickname Rose) and your 17 year's old. Get this your a normal teen totally obvious to the supernatural world. You know nothing of Werewolves, Fairy, Angel's, Fallen Angel's a.k.a. Vampire's, or other magical creature's. Your grandmother just happens to be a witch and your about to find out from her that your a witch also. YOU’RE STORY- The day started out any normal day for an average girl in an average world of course most would say that and still have fate thrown in their face not to mention we all have our bad days. Its funny know that you think back on all your other birthdays of your parent's calling your entire aunt's and uncles and cousins. And how your grandmother always never came or had an excuse for not being able to come. Most would think their grandmother would hate them or something along those lines. Yet it wasn’t like that with your grandmother Ayah she was a sweet old lady who just wasn’t your typical grandmother type. Beep. Beep…Beep….Beep…..SMACK! You groaned and turned over on your side the last of your dream circling though your head. You sighed and heard a light tape on your door and sat up looking around your room. Without even asking you knew the person out side your door was your mother. “Yes, mom.” you said drowsily getting out of bed. Let’s say you’re not a mourning person who just happens to trip in your blankets and hit’s the floor. Your mother was inimically in the room her hand’s up and ready for anything. She looked down at you sprawled across the floor refusing to get up because you were so tired. She held back her laughter as you rested your head on your head to look up at her Your mom was beautiful looking much like you with long jet-black hair and her own lavender eyes. You smiled up at her for no reason only that it wasn’t just her beauty that drew people but her personality. It was one of the thing’s your father had loved about her the most, at least that what he kept telling everyone. You only had to watch them a few moments’s to know they were in love and it was the romantic kind that you hear about or read in book’s. She stared at you for a moment and shook her waist length blue-black hair and twinkle in her eye’s. “I bet I can guess what you’re thinking.” She teased and left the room. You stood up slowly tossing the blankets away while fixing your tank top and shorts before heading out of the room. You couldn’t help but wonder how it was you could be so graceful like your mother but such a clause some time’s. “And what was I thinking dear mother of mine.” You sighed as you slid down the railing to the first floor. Your mother smiled and disappeared into the hall way leading to the kitchen her tall form just noticeable in the dim light. You followed after yawning as you reach the door way to the kitchen and saw your father at the table with his morning paper. He looked up his brown eyes steady and sparkling with the laughter that was always their. John Marshall was a lawyer by family choice it still didn’t explain what he saw in your mother, but hey you weren’t complaining. “Hey kid your look lovely today.” He teased. You frowned running a hand though your midnight-black hair and sighed to find both your parent’s laughing at you. “Ha you’re so funny you’re nearly hilarious.” You groaned sitting down at the table and ate the toast your mother sat down in front of you. Your father put the paper down to eat his eggs and bacon and looked up to thank your mother for the coffee. She sat down and enjoyed her own cup of Joe and you smiled to yourself. Not matter what day it was or how special it could be the morning was always yours. Your mother would make breakfast and you all sit down to eat and talk a little before your father left and you got ready for school. “So what do you plan on doing for your birthday today, kid.” Your father smiled holding a fork full of eggs in your face. You sighed and squirmed in the seat “Well Kate, and Jeff wanted to go to the mall and spend time their before they took me back to Kate’s house for my ‘surprise party’.” You smiled to yourself at your friend’s logic of being subtle about it. Your mother smiled and your father laughed but you notice the laughter didn’t quite reach his eyes. “What’s wrong dad?” you asked cautiously. He looked at your mother then back at you and sighed. “I don’t suppose I could just say nothing and get away with it?” you shook your head slowly he gave a small smile “Then I’ll just come out and say it…….Your grandmother’s coming over and your to spend your birthday with her.” Part 2 You looked at your father then at your mother and gave a hesitate laugh before sighing and pounding your head against the kitchen table and groaned “Please can’t I just…..I don’t now blow her off, or you can tell her I’m sick and in the hospital.” You looked hopefully at your father and found him frowning at you. You mother had a grin on her lovely face but she wouldn’t help you no matter what. Your father scowled when he looked at his wrist then looked back at you “We are not discussing this right now. I know you never met your grandmother but your to be home after school and your to meet her, do you understand.” His eye’s had narrowed when you mad a face but gave up and nodded “You better, kid or I’ll be very disappointed.” He got up and kissed your mother on the head then kissed you on the check saying his good-bye and dashing off to work. You sighed when the front door closed and gave up on the breakfast and got up. Your mother was busy with the dishes and you decided to go take a shower and change. You walked up the stairs to your room grabbing what ever (me: I pick a t-shirt, Jean’s, and a hoddie.) and went to take a very nice warm shower. When you were finished you got dress and did your hair up into a pony tail. This wasn’t much of a problem because you had straight hair that fell a little past your shoulders. You checked the mirror and found that you didn’t need any make-up. You were like your mother natural beauty with nothing needed to enhance it with cosmic. You dashed into your room to grab your school books and book-bag and your keys before going back down stairs. “Bye mom!” you yelled and she yelled “Good-bye and be careful.” As you closed the door behind you, you saw your it look’s like this It’s a silver convertible a four seat (Nice huh?) Well any way’s you can see that your dad did pay for it but it was your choice of car. So you threw your stuff into the back and hopped in before you started the car and back out of the drive way. And drove down the road and to the left you had to leave your neighborhood before you got on the main road. **Elapsed Time** Your at school and had just found a spot when you see Jeff and Kate walking up to you car. You smile at them sadly and they knew you to well to look the other way and not ask. “Why the long face, Rose.” Jeff leaned against the hood and you sighed. “My mom and dad said I can’t go to the surprise party.” You looked at both their shocked faces. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN’T GO TO YOUR OWN SURPISE PARTY!!!?” Jeff roared outraged but Kate had other things on her mind. “Does that mean you can’t go shopping with us?!?!” she looked at you shocked when you shook your head at both of them. “Why?” they asked unison. You looked at them both and sighed muttering under your breath “I have to spend this birthday with my grandmother.” They both made and outrage sound and you notice people were starting to stare and you scowled at them. They usually went away because a lot of people were intimidated by you because they thought because you’re beautiful you won’t talk to them. Others thought you were stuck up and didn’t really care what you did so they kept staring getting a laugh out of it. Not that either of your friends were ugly Jeff was actually tall and lean with a built to him. He had brown eye’s and dirty blonde hair that he left short and kid of prep style. Kate on the other had had green eye’s and light brown hair she was short than you by an inch. But Jeff was 5’9” and never seemed to care that every girl stared at him, Kate was a hidden beauty she was a bookworm but still acted girly enough to be ubssed with her look’s and her grade’s. (Bad combination if you ask me) You grabbed your stuff and enter the school to await your fate later. Part 3 The day had been long and hard you only had four classes a day but you had hour long periods. Not to mention you had three tests that you had forgotten to study for by accident. You pulled into the drive way of your two story house and saw the red Pontiac in your driveway (if you don’t know what one look’s like go to Google and look it up, I’d give more of a discribction but I’m no good at it any way so hang with me.) You were confused because the car neath belong to your mom or dad so you pulled into your usually spot by the mail box. Your mom and dad were just walking out when you saw a lady who didn’t look older than 80 step in the door way. You saw that she had long grey hair that fell to her waist similar to your mother’s. She looked like the type to hold herself up if need be and you could see the laugh and frown line’s around her mouth and eye’s. You turn to your parent’s who were smiling at you as you walked up the drive. You stopped in front of them staring at the old woman in the door your father spoke first. “Rose this is your Grandma Ayah, Grandma you grandchild Rose.” You looked at the old woman who was your grandmother and had nothing to say to her. Your grandmother Ayah had a few words with your father “I thought her name was Roslyn?” “It is mother but….” Your mother began Ayah cut her off “It does not matter if you call her a flower I will call her by her real name, Roslyn dear come inside.” Her voice was very upper-cut and rolled with her accent. You didn’t like being called by your full name so you found it irritating that she could make your parent’s feel bad. You took a step toward your parent’s kissing their cheek’s as they left murmuring good-bye’s your father looked at Gram Ayah one last time before walking to their car. Finally when they had left you turned to Ayah already regretting that she would be a bitter old woman. She had a smile on her face that was meant for cookies and baking cake’s. The type of grandma who charsed their time with their grandchildren. She must have found your expression funny because she laugh softly “Come dear child do not be afraid I only did that to make your father fear me more. That’s the thing with us Lockhart’s we are scary on the outside but melt like butter in the inside.” She seemed almost please that she had confused you but you shook it off walking past her into the house. As you walk past her she let her hand brush yours you felt a snap like static and yelped pulling your hand back. Ayah smiled holding her hand out when you looked at it you saw a red welt on it and gasped. “Do not fear child I merrily tested your power…..you are strong see the wound is all ready disappearing.” You looked at your hand to see the red spot was disappearing then looked in disbelief at her. “I said not to worry had you been any weaker the wound would not have healed so easily…..yes, you are strong prehappen’s even stronger than me.” She smiled her lavender blue eye’s dancing with laughter. In that moment you understood why no one had ever told you about your grandmother. Why only the females of your family had lavender-blue eye’s you frowned stepping far away from her as you walked by. When you were both in the house she closed the door watching you curiously you sighed walking into the kitchen.
