Ian came back from Australia. The first thing he tells me is that he wants a break but he still wants me to be his best friend. He wants to hang out Friday. I told him no. He told me that I promised him that I wouldn't act like that if we ever broke up. How can I just be friends with him? I guess I don't want to hang out with him because it's going to hurt so much more. I don't know what to do.
