He lay there, fainted, as they did nothing to help him, the doctors barely noticing, and Jamie’s family, staring at him, not willing to pick him up. Finally, one doctor, the one with brown hair, walked over to him, and turned him over onto his back, softly. Shawn was slightly awake, but at the same time, feeling half dead. His eyes slightly opened, the light shining behind the doctor, his pupils getting smaller at the massive change of light. And he saw her, Jamie, picking him up and turning him over, feeling his head, not noticing the amount of people standing around him, watching, hoping in their deep and sinful thoughts, that he was dead. They prayed he would stop breathing, praying for his heart to give out due to a guilty conscience. For that split second, he stared at Jamie; his eyes were half closed, as his hands lifted and held the doctor’s wrists, as if holding onto his life. He pulled his eyelids open to reveal reality that it wasn’t Jamie. He turned onto his side and vomited out his guilt.
