I WON! I WON! I WON! I WON! YEAH!! OK i bet you wanna know what i won right?? A long time ago i entered this poem on the internet not expecting to win anything and then yesterday i got a letter in the mail that said that my poem has been chosen to be published in a book of poetry. Isn't that awesome. I get two full pages to my self. One page will feature the poem and the other page will have my writings on it(what ever i want to say like about what has inspired me to write)! I'm so excited and surprised. My aunt read through a bunch of my writings once and she said that they were really good and i didn't believe her. I never really thought about entering them in a contest but i saw it in a magazine and did it. There are other prizes that i could win if they think the poem is good enough. I could win $1,000 or $10,000. There's other prizes too but i'm not sure what they are. But i don't really care about winning the prizes, just to know that my poem was goo denough to be chosen to be published is enough for me. God my social worker comes today. I guess that's good in a way but she'll just probably talk about how my brother's going back to my mom's on august 20 which i think is fucked up because he still isn't ready to go back. And honestly i don't think my mom's ready to have him back. But i guess you wouldn't understand all of this unless i told you the rest of the story.
