Impulsive stops of time

This is a poem i made in creative writing and i submitted to teen ink. However, i hope i will not get sued for posting it here, because i am not very sure if they chose me or not. Probably not, but hey, what can one person do? 10:24 The ball of fire slowly rises Light shines through open windows And is reflected off golden mirrors 10:24 No one is here to be found Broken cars scattered in the streets Clothing left without their masters 10:24 Clocks stop ticking in the silence Animals are left in a stand still A small flame stops burning in a forest 10:24 A small whisper is finally heard Graceful fingers touch the skin A dream is destroyed as we awake 10:24 Lying in a tattered bed Eyes open in a sudden steam of light Hands clasped in love 10:24 For an eternal minute, we wait In an instance we are one And the world stops to free us 10:24
