Happy Halloween

Boo. We've made a successful transfer to the new server. Some of you are still experiencing technical difficulties and I am trying to close the book on those as soon as I can, but for now I am in a different process. Hopefully by this time tomorrow I will be falling asleep in the comfort of my new apartment. There's a big day of moving ahead. I won't have internet access from the complex for a week or two, so if nothing else, just enjoy a faster sitDiary for two weeks. Marin and I were discussing moving all of sitDiary to sitdiary.net and making that happen soon. Any feedback on that would be great. Aside from all that, I hope all of you have an excellent Halloween day and a hexcellent night of trickortreating. -Scott P.S. Hopefully you've noticed that the site has not gone down at ALL. That is thanks to the wonderful hosts of the new server.

I think sitDiary.net will be an improvement. It's snappier and once everyone gets over the release of the old one I think we'll all appreciate it.
Especially new members, who will find it easier to remember the address.
Though I do think you should put "Such Is This: Diaries" or something similar on the front page: just so we don't lose the meaning.

Still have a friend that cannot get on. Says the site still says transfering. I tried the command prompt thing and it didn't work for her. Any other suggestions?

ok, i have a question...i know my friend has a diary on here, but he wont tell me his name because its become kind of came as to how i figure it out. and i was wondering if u could help me. i know his basic info. but dont really want to post it on here. so if u could get back to me. that would be great.

ok i had a "top_left" pic and now i want to change it so i renamed that pic its original name, then i renamed a different one "top_left". but then it still showed up as the old pic, and when i looked in Image Manager and clicked on it it had changed itself to the old pic. but then when i rename THAT pic to its original name it goes back ot being the right photo. how do i fix this??

will the change to www.sitdiary.net take a few days like the server change or will it be quick? sorry i'm not up with computer stuff.

good luck moving into your new place. moving is a pain in the butt, but it's kinda fun setting everything up in a new place. i think so at least.
The move to www.sitdiary.net is great! Just make sure you make this address redirect people to the new one.

Why so eager for the change to sitdiary.net? Personally, I'll miss the "Such is this" part of the url, which will no longer be a part of the site at all.

But that's just me, clinging to strange phrases again.
