pain

she reaches for her needle, the small silver thin rod shined in the candle light. as it entered the warm light, the silver turned a light red. her sweat rolled down her face, and as it came close to her skin she closed her eyes. the needle touched her flesh, and instead of flinching, she leaned into the pain. a smile came to her face, and as she felt the needle cool, she was eager for more, but instead of putting the needle back into the flame, she durg it into the burn. the pain was satisfying, and she couldn't think of a time when she felt better...people say drugs and alchohol are bad, but they are completely ignorant to the true drug of life. pain is what we crave, no matter if it's physical or mental. the rush comes to us and we are hooked. i know this not by what i read but of my own experiences. i want to warn the world that this is indeed out there, and to the people who know what i am saying...try hard to find other pains like athletics or love or somehting better for you. i never want to have to feel the releif of a needle going through me. and i hope you never will too. stay strong.
