There was a knock at the front door. Mitch listened hard to Botan and Keiko hiding any evidence of a struggle in the living room. The front door opened, and Botan and Keiko greeted what seemed to be three men. Mitch raised an eyebrow. *They don’t sound like folk who would be extremely upset of an outsider in the house*. But Mitch stayed behind closed door...s. There was much talking, which gave Mitch a head ache. And then foot steps were heard coming towards the closet. *ch, duh, your in the hallway COAT closet*. A small struggle was heard between Botan and one of the men, which gave Mitch enough time to hide behind the coats and burrow her feet into some of the jackets on the floor. The closet door opened, and a hanger was retrieved. Botan looked fairly surprised at the empty closet. Mitch shifted a bit to see a young, long haired red head talking to Botan joyfully. He hung up his coat, and closed the door. Mitch blew out the air she had been holding in. And she listened in to the conversation that was taking place just out side the door: “What’s up, Botan?” “Er...nothing much, um...how was your day?” “Eh, not too shabby, although it was a pain to get Kuwabara to STOP PLAYING VIDEOGAMES!” “Dude, that was SOO yer fault!” “Eh, cramp it. So, Keiko, wat’s fer lunch?” “Gees, Yusuke, I’m not yer maid!” “I-I know. It’s just...never mind.” “What?” “I’m sorry” mumbled the one called Yusuke. “Whatcha hidin?” “W-What?’ “Comeon, Keiko, I’ve known you for more years then I can count. WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?” “I’m...I’m not.” “A young female is hiding in the closet” said the voice of the red headed man. Both Botan and Keiko gulped and Mitch bonked her head against the back of the closet. The room went silent. Footsteps ran to the door and flung it open. Mitch jumped out and fell flat on her face. She jumped back up and once again, held up her hands in defeat. Coats and jackets were all over her. “There’s no need to hold up your hands, you’ve done nothing wrong” said the red head, who had now circled around Mitch to look at her square in the eye “I’m just wondering why you were hiding.” “Um...” “Botan, Keiko...” the man turned around to look at them “who is this charming young lady?” Mitch rolled her eyes. Botan was the one to speak. “Mary or Michele or sumfin like that.” “...Mitch”, Mitch answered. The red head look back at Mitch. He looked at her for a second, and lowered her hands. “My name is Kurama.” A big eyed fellow came up to her and shook her hand. “Ya, and I’m Yusuke.” Mitch gave a fake little laugh. She looked around and saw a taller red head boy looking at her and giggling. Mitch raised an eye brow. Yusuke turned around. He turned back and was smiling. He looked at Mitch. “Ya, that would be Kuwabara.” Mitch said “hey”. She saw one more new face. *oh...four boys.* And Mitch then had noticed he was frowning at her. She blinked a few times, shrugged, and looked away. Yusuke saw this reaction. “That’s Hiei.” “Ah.” “So...where do you come from?” “The wall.” All the guys gave a blink. Botan intruded. “Um...wat she means is she Flowd. She did it thru the wall!” “ Wat she...I wat?” The Kurama guy answered. “ Flowd. A body is sent thru an opposite stage of normal physics, causing it to phase thru a solid thru magic...” Mitch twitched. Kurama looked at her funny. “Uh, basically he means you can pass thru walls and teleport to another plain” Botan corrected. “...usually after the 3rd star on the left of the 1st Full moon after your 16th birthday is glowing a remarkable shaded of light purple” finished Kurama. “Of course.” Mitch thought for a second. “Hey, what a minute...you said-“ “Magic.” finished Kurama. “No. No no no no. because then...” “You would be an ancestor of magic” finished Kurama...again. Mitch gave Kurama the eye. Kurama looked at her thoughtfully. “Did you just turn 16?” he asked. “Last night.” “I see...” “So...wat does this mean?” “It means you are now a witch.” Mitch just looked at him. “Oh.” Kurama looked at her left eye. “Oh...what happened?” He went to reach for Mitch’s cut from the broken bottle of Tori’s beer the night before. Mitch pulled away. After a second of staring, there was a loud thump. Both Kurama and Mitch were startled. The Kuwabara and Yusuke were apparently fighting. Botan and Keiko were just watching. Hiei was trying to pull away Kuwabara. Kurama and Mitch both ran over to assist. Kurama was trying to pull away Yusuke. Mitch somehow ended up in the middle and had both Yusuke and Kuwabara pulling at her arms. As the battle continued, Mitch felt a little weird and started phasing thru the floor. Before all had enough time to reacted, they were all teleported to a forest.
