The space shuttle was blown out into space. It was now on its own. Swirling and spinning and nothing in its path to stop it except the space station set to explode soon. And with one tap of the shuttle wing, both the station and the shuttle combusted. The flash of light from the explosion blinded Mitch. She turned her face to her party and they all starred back. The rescue team who had saved them was coming back with a new crowd of scared and confused people. Mitch looked back out and saw no other escape pod separate from the station. She looked down, then turned to the rest. “Well” was all she said. She looked up at the captain of the rescue team and asked, “Gotta kitchen?” Mitch’s crowd fell over soon after. Mitch poked her potato bit in her clam chowder with her fork and stared blankly into her bowl. “That doesn’t seem to be fully cooked”. Mitch looked up. “You may want to run it through the microwave one more time”. Mitch swung around. Heero grabbed a can of chicken noodle and poured it into a bowl. When the microwave turned on, Heero spun around and looked directly at Mitch. Mitch was slightly smiling and shaking her head. “So...” “So.” “So where’s this spectacular device you used to escape gracefully and dramatically?” Heero looked at her, very slightly smiling. “..Come on.” He exited the kitchen and Mitch followed. Kurama saw them walk by and gave Mitch a winking grin. She looked around like she didn’t see him. He, like her previously, smiled to himself and was shaking his head. Mitch and Heero stepped into a large room containing five mammoth human-shaped machines, each about 8 stories high. Heero grinned and looked at Mitch. “These are-” “Gundams!” Heero looked taken aback. “Enormous mobile suits shaped like the human body. There are only five in the entire galaxy and they are owned by young pilots that only-”. She stopped. She turned and looked directly at Heero in a gasping look. Heero looked up at his Gundam. “There are now six, thanks to the forging of a new one.” He continued looking up, knowing she was still staring at him. “Heero!” Heero looked down to see four boys approaching him. The one in all black was the only one talking and the only one who seemed to be happy, aside from the blonde guy. “Who’s she?” Mitch raised an eyebrow. “Mitch I believe it was”. Mitch paid no mind to him, she just starred at the new comers. “Hi”. The one in black waved at her and smiled. Once again, Mitch raised and eyebrow but this time, she could not help but to smirk. “And you would be?” The boy smiled. “My name’s Duo”. Afterward, Duo introduced everyone to Mitch, except for Quatre, who gladly introduced himself. “So...you all just happen to be the pilots of these Gundams and therefore just so happened to be neatly and conveniently compact within a single floating planet?” “Colony” Quatre corrected. “...What, are you all friends or somethin?” “...” “...” “...” “...” “...(burp)” “...I see”. And so went on this astounding conversation until midnight struck.
