Listening to: Fall Out Boy- "Honorable Mention"
Feeling: spectacular
It took me about five times to type that song title correctly. Wow, I suck. Not as much as English memoirs, but I do indeed suck. I love this song. I dunno why. It's not that good a song. But it's got character. It does. And they mention John Cusack. He is THE romantic comedy god. Ow. Foot asleep, but waking up. That sucks. So, I can't decide what memory I want to use for English. PArt of me says to go with the happiness, antoehr part says to keep going in my emo direction. I dunno what to listen to. I feel bad for playing up the father-less child bit, so I don't want to go with that. Then again, going with my happy memeory makes me seem like a girl with nothing in her life other than her music. Which is slightly true, but I don't my English teacher to know that. But I can remeber that much clearer. I dunno. I'm in a pickle. I want a pickle. That sounds really good, but I don't have a pickle. I decided that I need to sweat out my emotions more. I just need to find some sort of physical activity that I don't hate doing. The dancing down in the celler actually works, which is really odd. I wish I could write my Englihs assignment about this song, becasue I love it so much. Maybe I can do that whole twisting the truth bit, like she told us to do. It would work. Although my mother never listened to Fall Out Boy. I bet she would have, if she had known they existed. Which scares me slihgtly, but whatever.
"I served out my detention
And in the end I got an honorable mention
In the movie of my life
Starring you
Instead of me
When the moonlight
Hits your bright eyes I go blind
And maybe next time
I'll remember not to tell you something stupid like I'll never leave your side
Like the oldest movie I ever saw was the one we wrote together
I said I hate you but I'd never change a thing
I can be your John Cusack
I burnt out
My defensive
Now everything I say is taken as offensive
In the movie of my life (movie of my life.. yeah)
Starring you
Instead of me
When the moonlight
Hits your bright eyes I go blind
And maybe next time
I'll remember not to tell you something stupid like I'll never leave your side
Like the oldest movie I ever saw was the one we wrote together
I said I hate you but I'd never change a thing
I can be your John Cusack
Oldest movie I ever saw was the one we wrote together
I said I hate you but I'd never change a thing
I can be your John Cusack
Be your John Cusack
I can be your John Cusack"
