A Chevy (black ink and just

as mutable) sits revs

its engine in the corner

of my mind

and a comma, and a pause

and a sideways glance at you

The light hits your eyes (sparks)

in a not-quite-right way, a

Hello

and a nod, It's Fine

Hello

in a way, that way as

if we never said goodbye.
