Our cat, Murphy, just brought a rat into the house. The rat managed to slip out of Murphy's mouth, and Murphy chased it under my mother's bed. Now we have to find a way to get it out, if it even is there anymore. Murphy lost interest in trying to find him a while ago. This has happened once before. It took hours. We have to leave the doors open so the rat can leave, and it's getting mighty cold.
I got a new pair of shoes today, for the wedding tommorrow. I usually wear shoes long after they could be pronounces dead, but I'm going to try to not abuse these ones so much.
I don't know what's going on. Our entire house has this horrible atmosphere, just because of the rat. We're going to have to more or less empty Mom's bedroom to find the rat. It feels weird, like a night a long time ago...
