I couldn't escape the sounds in my ears. All eyes were fixed upon me. He slowly walked over, closer and closer to my eyes. I slapped him. "FUCK OFF." Eryn woke up the next morning with no thought about the incident which played through her head. Nobody was home. Nobody was ever home. She didn't shower, but dressed in her usual attire and sluggishly pulled herself to her black SUV. She drove silently to school. She glanced over at her cell phone every once in a while, hoping that someone, anyone, would call. But she knew nobody would. Because everyone was dead.
