i always wondered y ppl say "Another one bites the dust" i relli dont know what it means. if you do let me know cuz i relli wanna know. well next week is midterms, and im in all freakin honors classes so it will be so0o0o much harder. i hope i do good. well i just came back from soccer practice, and our freakin coach didnt show up. so all 11 girls that did show up had a little mini practice, and we ran, and worked out. well homecoming is coming soon, but im not going cuz not that many freshmen r going, so i think im going when im a sophmore (i think I spelled that rite!) well gotta take a bath! CIAO!!!!

i believe the first person to use the phrase “bite the dust” was homer, the greatest name in the history of epic poetry.

in the iliad, homer describes a soldier falling on the field of battle, mortally wounded. in his final agony the soldier is described as "biting the dust". literally. with his teeth. like an animal mad with pain.

of course, there was also the queen song, but that was written about 3000 years later.
