Sorry for putting up another entry but I just got this letter from Justin Young.
Justin Young is blind student of Mrs. Lewis'. Mrs. Lewis asked me if I could get him seats to see HAMLET. Of course, I was happy too. I met him at the doorway and got him perfect seats. His mom wanted to pay but I refused. You see, he had just finished reading HAMLET and was longing to see it. So, anyways back to my point, the letter.
It reads:
Dear Ali,
I would like to thank you for the free tickets to see Hamlet. It was a magnificent production. My mom and I really enjoyed seeing teh black boy theatre. Everything was so lifelike. My mom asked how they learned all those lines, I just told her that Perfect Practice Makes Perfect.
To you and all your colleagues I would complement them a wonderful job they did. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Justin Young
Then Mrs. Lewis wrote me a note on the bottom of it.
I think I know what I want to do when I'm older. I want to be like Mrs. Lewis. I want to work with special-needs children. I have always worked with children and every time I see a boy/girl like Justin I get all warm inside adn just want to hug them. I dont know, I think that this is what I want to do. I'm going to the counselors on Monday and going to talk with them about it.
I dont know...what do you guys think.
Oh, and I think I'm going to write Justin and see if he would like to see "Into the Woods"
