much like tying your shoes and blowing bubblegum bubbles, love is taught to you. whether it's through television or your parents, you are raised with the biased opinion of what 'true love' is. you're taught marriage before sex and happily-ever-afters, but never the trials love and relationships can bring.
to me, love is the ability to understand and forgive a person's flaws, to look past the superficial things such as looks and to uncover a spirit that never ages. love is leaving behind all your inhabitions - and to never have to say "i'm sorry".
though it is clear to me my opinion of love, i have never said the words; they seem so important - pregnant meaning.
