In my opinion, words only lose their meaning if they are consistently used incorrectly by a lot of people. in any case, the camera you were asking me about is a Panasonic DMC-TZ4 from their Lumix line, and overall I'm quite pleased with it so far, though it doesn't do as well in low-light (indoor) situations as I would have preferred...but it was relatively cheap so I can't complain too much.
