Well, we got back from choir tour last night at around 8, after which I studied for my Sociology test and did Accounting homework until around 2:30 in the morning and preceeded to wake up at 6:30 in order to be ready in time to take my test. I really hate tests. But it wasn't too bad, I took it at 8, went to Accounting at 9 (where the professor told us that the homework that I had done at 2 in the morning really isn't due until Wednesday). After that I had to go to Sociology class and got my grade back (an A), and was perked me a little bit. So now I'm exhausted and still have a class and work and homework to do today.
Anyway, back to choir tour. It was a really good experience, although it could have happened at a more opportune moment (like when I didn't have so much stuff going on). We performed 2 to 3 concerts a day each lasting about an hour and a half. By the end of each one, our backs and feet hurt and we were burning up because the robes were so hot. But it was actually cool on this tour because we didn't just sing in churches, we got to go to a hospice, an Alzheimer's hospital, and a few nursing homes. It was a good but very emotional. When we sang in the hospice, just about everyone had tears in their eyes (including our choir director).
We're back on campus and have to get back in the grind of school...so much to do and so little time (sigh).
