went to my first football game on friday with a couple of friends. our schools football game that is. we were playing dunwoody and we creamed them. since most of my friends have brothers who go to dunwoody we sat on the dunwoody side and the people looked at me like what are you sitting here for whenever i cheered for chamblee. earlier that day we dressed up in old-timey clothes and walked around th neighborhood and to the creek. id never done anything like that so i felt kinda weird. we were talking about periods when we saw to guys riding bikes. all the other girls were like "shhh" and addie goes loudly (loud enough for them to hear) "i hate when it's that time of the month and you get your period!!!". i, in response, yell "and mine always comes at the worst times!". when theyre nearly next to us we see that theyre from our school. boy did i feel stupid. two in one. anyways, im finally on the second part of little women after putting it down for a while. im really sad though cause emily told me what happens. she thought id already read the book. what jo said at the end of the first part really pissed me off though. ["That's true. Don't you wish you could take a look forward and see where we shall be then? I do," returned Laurie. "I think not, for I might see something sad; and everyone looks so happy now, I don't think they could be much improved," and Jo's eyes went slowly round the room, brightening as they looked, for the prospect was a pleasant one.]- from Little Women. i mean, how can alcott have jo say that when beth is going to die. honestly! beth and jo are my favorites too. oh well. we were out of school today cause of tropical depression frances. ive never had a rain day before.
