Today was easy.....and a good way to end school on a friday. We had our prom committee meeting at 2:45pm in the North gym....our theme is a marocan~elligant type thing. We combined two ideas...which turned out to be really interesting. I am part of the Miscellaneous and Walls committees. I help in the decisions of invitations, background for pictures, construction, design, and set of the exterior part of the theme. We don't want to go so much with solid colors for the background of pictures due to the fact that if the girl is wearing the same color of dress as it....too much blending in and she basically looks like a bleeped out porno star....I know that's one hell of a way to look at it, but that's how I view it! School at the beginning of the year was a bit of a struggle. I failed 2 classes because I refused to put out any effort. Thank God our counselor Mrs. Huges has an after school program in February for Jr's and Sr's to bring up their English grades. YAY!!! The sad thing is....I usually Ace all my English classes.....don't know what got into me. This Semester I am working my butt off to keep my grades up. Here are my current grades: Computer Tech- B Desktop Publishing- A- Building Trades- B Fitness For Life- A English- A- American History- B+ Intro to Theatre- B- Personal Finance- C+ Seminar- C (cant stand my teacher) So far, so good!!! Dad and Mom are glad I'm bringing them up....ME TOO! lol. I was suppose to go with my home boy Domnick and fight some dude and his crew.....but I told him that's the last thing I need to get involved in. Anymore..someone can look at someone else wrong and it gets a fight started. it's crazy!!! Well, I'm going to get off here. Talk to y'all soon! With All My Love, Shay
