And there shall be no more of this adult talk, as my distant friend recently pointed out. I am only 19 and have a life to live! lol, although I am enjoying mine right now and have always been the "adult" in whatever situations required such a person's thinking. My apologies, I've always been far too mature for my age. So anyways, at work I was thinking about how to slow time and it's equivalent. I realized that time cannot be slowed. Time always moves forward, no matter what. I doubt anything is powerful enough (but for one thing not created...) to be able to stop or slow time, as they would have to do so across the entire universe at once. It's quite goggling for the mind. So that ruled out actually stopping or slowing time. I thus thought of speeding up the body and mind to give the illusion that time is stopped to the speedster. The subject could be moving and thinking so fast that the rest of the world around them is "slow", or that to reach a point that time still marches on as usual, just it's so slow it seems to stop. But the human body has physical limitations to such stress. Friction from the air would destroy the body. Think of a shuttle coming in from orbit. It's going really fast no doubt (24,000kph, roughly 14,912mph for us yanks) and yet we can still see it, not as a blur but for what it is. It can be comprehended. It generates a temperature of nearly 3000 degrees F from the friction. Now if someone went faster than that, and they would have to to feel as if time stopped, they'd simply die, lol. Perhaps that's where spontaneous combustion comes from. So unless you were in a vacuum, ie. space, it'd be physically impossible for us at least. So that left me with no answers but some interesting thoughts. Thanks for listening to my ramble. Wanted to yell today. Didn't. I want a nice car. Need to start looking though, not that I'll buy soon. Just want an idea. I swear my xbox knows that I have things to do. When I was playing KOTOR II yesterday and today, it froze at key times when I needed to do things. It was so weird. It's like it knew I had chores, and sensing I'd had my fill (which yet of course I didn't) it froze. Course, it needs to be cleaned make no mistake, but still. Strange. Aw, I just heard the ice cream man. That's awesome, he's been in my neighborhood all summer so far. He's awesome. Geeze this entry is long. I love my baby. I hope she knows that.
