Getting it off the ground

Do you have any idea how hard it is to get a business off the ground? Theres so much planning and resources required... You have to have time, you have to have money, you have to have dedication, and most of all, you have to have folks that arent hellbent on sabotaging you from square one. [[Initialzing rant engine v0.982a]] Imagine the following conversation. Me (Talking to myself): Wonder where i could go to get some business cards printed up.. Mom: Why? You're still in school, you're not starting a business? Me: Uhh, YEAH i AM, i've already got some ads going and some folks want me to look at their computers Mom: No you're not! You dont have time! Me: Yes i am! (Goes over some details of the day's schedule) I've got plenty of time! Mom: Well i don't care, you've got your priorities totally out of whack. Me: They're MY priorities and i'll thank you to leave them that way. (Something like that, i forget the last bit) -- Ok fast forward a couple hours. We've got a camper and a shed on our lot, full of usless crap that needs to be dumped or taken to a yard sale. The camper has been parked in the same spot that it is for the past 10 or so years, its maybe been entered twice in that time. We've been talking about letting me use the camper for a shop because i've got zilcho space in my room for doing such a thing. Really. I'm surrounded on all sides in here. So my dad goes into this huge big spiel about how i'm not using the camper just because i told him off earlier. Why? Basically he was giving a cow that i let folks use my video games some times. I pretty much told him to mind his own f*ckin business (not in so many words.. but something to that effect) because they belong to me and i can do whatever i want to do with my own property! (whew!) So here i am. Stuck with a business thats not going anywhere because my folks are in their "Arbitrary-we-run-your-life-and-theres-nothing-you-can-do-about-it" mode. And they wonder why i want to move away? Hm.. speaking of moving. I have some plans in the works to move to Oregon with a good friend of mine. Which might end up being sooner than later if i can get some scratch together and my folks keep voluntarily pissing me off. Anyways.. now that i've got that off my chest i can concetrate on bigger problems. Such as my room thats in a dire need of cleaning :/ Till next time ~Tsukasa "Cleaning is overrated" Karuna
