I didn't know how to seam, I didn't know how to color match and compensate for the verigated-ness. The cables, however, turned out beautifully. For my very first cables, I think they look pretty good Stats: Yarn - 2 balls CPY Merino Stripes, color Sierra Moss Needles - CPY Bamboo size 8 I didn't check gauge, I don't think if I even understood the concept of gauge then. I just bought what was listed in the pattern. I'm not extremely pleased with them to actually wear them, but I might make them again with different yarn [that's not retarded stripy].
