First off, the
Oh So Soft Baby Blanket. This was my first experience with yarn overs to make the holey part, and it pissed me off in the beginning.

Folded in quarters.

Stats:
Yarn - Red Heart Soft Baby in white and Twinkle Red Heart Soft Baby in Mint
Needles - Size 15 circs
Next is one of my favorite things I've ever knit, the
Cabled Baby Hat. So many cables for such a little head! But so so cute.

Look at all the cables!!

Next to JD's phone for comparison.
I'll mention again just how freakin cute this hat is. Soooo soooo cute!!!
Stats:
Yarn - KnitPicks Swish Superwash in Dublin
Needles - Size 7 dpn
Finally, the
Baby Yoda Sweater, which is a kimono-style jacket/sweater. I added detail stitching to the sleeves and around the bottom because I thought it needed a little extra something.

The sweater.

Close up of the detailing on the bottom.
This was my first real article of clothing that dealt with seaming, and even though I tried to figure out how to change it to a top down, minimal seaming because I didn't want to lean sweater, I couldn't. And I still didn't learn how to seam correctly.
Stats:
Yarn - Sugar and Cream [100% cotton] in an oatmeal color
Needles - either size 7 or 8 straights, I can't remember.

The set together. Hopefully I'll receive some action shots from the parents of the little babeh after she arrives.
