Listening to: Everybody\'s Fool by Evanescence
Feeling: bummed
ok, i told you i'd make another one, so here it is... it just goes to show that there are some morons out there who think a pretty face won't tell a secret. whatever. this is officially my gambling poem. I thought of it while playing a slot machine lol.... yeah. well here.
"My Secret"
I'm betting my fates
And playing the cards right.
Getting 4 kings straight,
My luck is in sight.
I lay them down on the table
And announce my winnings.
I'm glad I am able
To get 'em in the beginning!
As I collect my chips
And let the lady cash it all in,
She says "Sir, youre in for a kick,
$7,000! how did you win?"
I tell her my story first,
And how I begun,
From way back when my mom gave birth
To her only gambling son.
I did not think that such a beautiful soul
Would tell anyone my secret.
No, not anyone at all!
We promised not to tell, but she told it.
Thirty minutes later, and safe at home,
I heard sirens wail.
I believe I am done,
And think of how I had failed.
I told her my secret.
(I really want to bail!)
Oh, how I do regret,
Now that I am in jail!!!
