Feeling: sorry
Well today was pretty cool. It was a web. That's sweet. We got to mess with drunk goggles in the A gym in health today. We had to attempt to shoot a basket, walk a straight line, and copy down some facts on a slip of paper, all while wearing the goggles. Well, everyone was way off when shooting the basket, like they didnt even come near the backboard. I almost made it in. Twice. Coach Fountain freaked out, like omg she's an alcoholic. So then I had to walk the straight line. So I did it. Perfectly. All the way across the end of the gym. Aaaand I had no trouble copying down the fact thingys. Everyone was like, wow Ann your crazy, you must be an alcoholic. heh whatever.
Sooo after school I went to Fleet Feet to get my track uniform. It's pretty cute, I must say. Then my dearest mommy and I went to Slope's for lunch. I didnt eat that much, but it felt like a ton, you know? I never really felt good after that either. Still don't. But anyways we ran a few other errands, spent some time in Veronica's Attic (yess!!!) and then came home for like a millisecond before I had to leave for practice. It was painful today. Coach Suttle picked me and like 6 other girls out of everyone and gave us a different workout than everyone else. He said that we were not really as ready as everyone else to be sprinters, so we needed to "work on our base more", We had to do this thing called a fart lek or something, where you run a mile, sprinting the round parts and jogging the straightaways. Aaand it had to be under 8 minutes. which is really tough for me. Afterwards my shins hurt so bad that I couldn't stand up. Literally, I kept falling over. So then we ran another mile. After that, I had to try hard not to cry because my shins hurt so bad, and we had to do a bunch of push-ups because some people were being slow walking back to the starting line from whatever they were doing, So then I went to Sports med and did the whirlpool for 10 minutes and Michael drove me home. I have to say, his car is much more pleasant without Christine beating me up like she does every morning. Well, Mommy wants to go to Expo and I shall accompany her.
