just got back from the meet. i was the anchor in the 4x4 relay and by the time baton got to me our group was behind. And I mean, not just a little behind. When all the other 4th people were getting their batons, my 3rd person was still on the other side of the track! 200 flippin meters behind! So I had to wait at the starting line while everyones like "wheres the other walton girl" and im pointing to the turn on the opposite side. waaay far away. So let's just say that for the majority of my 400, I was flying solo. People were walking across the track in front of me cause they thought the race was over. When I finished, people were cheering "It's ok, Its not your fault!" Yeeeahha. And the sad part is, it's not the first time this has happened to me. In 7th grade at a swim meet the same thing happened, except everyone else was already done by the time I dove in and did my 100. ¡Como embarazoso!
