I was playing on Gaia earlier when I came across an interesting thread, childhood fears; just thought I'd write about fears. When I was a kid I was scared to death of the Crypt Keeper. I have always been and still am afraid of deep water and drowning, which was justified when I nearly drowned when I was eleven, I'm also afraid of water that I can't see through, I'm afraid of what might be in it. I'm afraid of dolls, wax figures, spiders and bugs, though I used to go catch them for fun, go figure, closed spaces, long dark hallways, especially with flickering lights, elevators, dead people, something grabbing my ankles, stair wells and I can't sleep without my curtains closed, at least on the window facing the woods. Oh! And mirrors in a dark room... I have a lot of fears...
