It's great.

I had a mate roadtrip up from down south to see me and the kids. We spent the evening at the beach. He brought up his digital SLR and taught me to use it. It has motivated me more to do a photography course. The quality of the pictures is just amazing. And the sunset was gorgeous. and spending 4 hours at the beach rocked. The kids loved it.

The kids and I have been watching the sunset a lot lately. We go at least once a week and sometimes twice. For the hour or 2 we are at the beach nothing but us exists. It's awesome. I never took the time out with Rob to watch the sunset. Not sure whether I regret that or not. But at least now I'm taking time out to *insert cliché here* enjoy the simple things in life.

We are also spending lots of time going to different ponds to feed the ducks. N loves it. A doesn't understand giving away perfectly good bread so eats it herself.

And we are finally learning sign language. It is awesome watching N sign to me. She picks things up so quickly thankfully, Still lots more to go though. One day I'll do a proper NZSL course.

Oh and I can't forgot my new hobby - darts. I am addicted to it. And I am getting quite good. Nothing quite like playing darts with a bunch of mates.

I think that is the majority of new things going on in my life.

I have cause to celebrate so this weekend we are taking the girls up North for a camping holiday. It will be so relaxing and fun. I'm looking forward to time away.
