Nostalgia

Was looking for something when I came across something else entirely unrelated. Got me reminiscing just a tad.

1st item found.

Not to shut you up

or keep you quiet

But 'cos I reckon being with you

is a fucken riot

The end of a year is near

and gladly I spent it with you, my dear.

I don't have time

to think of a rhyme

To accurately express

my happiness

So flowers a fresh

Because I am blessed

With you

my Baby Poo

Love always

R Akerman.

2nd item found.

An envelope I long ago collected from the letterbox only to find it had no stamp or postage markings. In it were several bits of paper.

1st piece - little note piece with "LUB" on it

2nd piece - "LUB" cut out from computer paper

3rd piece - A4 piece of comp paper with 22 different ways of "LUB" written on it.

4th piece - A4 piece with pictures depicting the following:

-"bLUBber" - big blubber person

-"cLUBbing" - guy doing the lawnmower (a move that always got me laughing)

-"emu LUB" - detailed pic of guy fucking an emu and emu moaning in pleasure (I presume it pleasure but that might be wrong of me)

-"cLUB sandwich" - obvious what the pic is

"antidisestablish mcLUB" - guy holding hands with his scribbled out love watching the church burn down

5th piece - "LUB... 'cos being with you is better than Living Under a Bridge (letters L, U, B underlined to spell out LUB) and cos I get to Look Under your Bra (again L, U, B underlined to show LUB) and knickers. Ok bored now. XOX x x p (p is sideways though)

Finding these articles made me laugh at the memory of when I first read them. Though great quote from Simpsons tonight summed up this quite well. "I guess in the end nothings as good as the memory." And I never found what I was originally looking for.

I found out how to get the kid to massage me for longer than 5 secs, give them a tub of moisturizer and let them go for it. Win, win situation really. Though not for my duvet cover but meh.

And my darling girls are still crawling into bed with me in the middle of the night. Though oddly enough they somehow take turns at it. Normally N is in every night though the other night she didn't come in till morning and it was A who had wormed her way into my bed in the night. I'm not too concerned as it is just them reacting to the 'situation' and making them feel safe and secure is paramount.
