The dance was amazing!!!! Even if I didn't go with Danielle, it was great. They had balloons everywhere, and in the center of the room there were four poles, all covered with balloons, then there was a rope of balloons that came together in the center of the two poles to make an "X". That was cool. And Danielle...she looked amazing. She had a light blue dress, and her hair was flipped up at the ends, which made her look even more beautiful than she already was. And...the DJ played Basment Jaxx!!!! I requested a song by them, and everyone loved it. The whole room was up dancing and screaming, including me. And Danielle dancing with another guy--that was relatively painless because the girl who I went to the dance with (who I really didn't want to go with) pulled me off to the side where we couldn't be seen and where I couldn't see Danielle. I sorta glad they didn't play any of my slow songs, because I wouldn't be with her. But--it's all good. The guy she went with--I forgot his name--is actually a decent guy. He's funny, and sweet, is pretty cool. I enjoyed hanging out with him at the after party. Oh--get this, Danielle said she only didn't go with me because to many people were making a fuss out of it. She said if they weren't, she would "totally go out with" me. She says she can't put up with rumors. Well, maybe I have a shot next year.
