Subject: Rock music on sunday (that you won't want to miss)
You may or may not be aware of it, but there is a very special evening being planned on Sunday. There will be a cookout dinner outside the PAC, followed by an outdoor concert. The main attraction of the show will be Viv, performing at GDA for their fourth time. They are from San Francisco, California (the land where all your dreams come true), and they put on quite the excellent show. At this point, you may be thinking that this will not be enough to fill your rock and roll quotient - and not to worry. Opening for Viv will be GDA's own Honest Abe (the morning meeting band). After a four month hiatus, they (we) are back and better than ever. So if you like rock music (and eating dinner), I highly suggest coming on down to the PAC on Sunday at 5:00.
See you then (or not if you are a jerk)!

Alex:
A good announcement except for your closing line. This is not an acceptable way to phrase a statement that is publically aired. I think you owe our community an apology for your final comment. You are better than this.
Sincerely,
JM Doggett
As Mr. Doggett has kindly pointed out, it is not appropriate to insinuate that members of our community are jerks should they not decide to come to the concert on Sunday. I appologize and would like to clarify that neither I nor anyone associated with the event will think less of you should you not come, and that all should feel free to come and go as they please on Sunday.
Alex
