Wonderful Day

Hebrews 11:1 --"Faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see." Hey Y'all, how's it going? I am well...I wanted to tell you about my day...IT WAS GREAT...Read my current mood! I can tell that I am GLOWING...I guess that was the only word I could use that closely describes how I'm feeling right now! Yesterday, we went shopping for Ben's tux for prom...We talked the whole way to and from the mall, but when we went in to get him measured for a tux, he was so funny...The guy kept asking us all of these questions, and Ben just kept looking at me for help! He was so funny....HE TURNED SO RED when the guy was measuring him! I laughed!! After we finished with that, we walked around the mall trying to find the candy store,(cuz he's weird), so I asked him if we could go see the puppies, so he brought me and actually played with some. He was so sweet and nice to me all day too!...So we hung out for the rest of the day 'cuz we had to go to a missions dinner.. After that, we went to his house and watched a movie before I had to go home and sleep! I am so glad that everything went well!! :0D Also, Becca and Luke are home! I MISSED THEM SO MUCH!!! I am going to have a sleep over with Becca and Deanna this Friday, it will be great fun!! YAY!!! ....I am going down to South Carolina to stay with Becca and Luke in 3 weeks...They go to the college that I will be going to in the fall! YAY!!! Well, thanks everyone for listening to me blab on and on...but it makes me happy and I just wanted to share my stuff with you!! HEHE...I hope that y'all have a WONDERFUL DAY too! God Bless! ~Aubrey~

thanks for the advice. I say that to people all the time, but when it actually comes to me, I need to hear it to lol. Boys can be ok sometimes...and sometimes they can't. But yours sounds good! and he opened the door for you?! you know you got a catch there ;)

I know that God will give me the right answers. I have a hard time fully giving my problems to him, for some reason. I'll lay it down, then run and pick it back up...that's something I really need to pray about.

What if they'er not Christian?
Then what does it matter if they are gay?
Oh yeah.
And if they are, God made them that way.
According to the Bible.
So therefore, it's God's fault that he makes people with qualities that he thinks are sinful.
He creates people with sin, yet punishes them for it.
If you could explain that to me, I would greatly appreciate it :)

Here is how I understand it:
God knows everything including the future.
God gives us the ability to choose good over evil-and it is our decision.
Yet...
If he knows the future, it means our destiny is already established, and we have a set path and do not have the ability choose to choose good over evil-therefore, the concept of an omniscent God is impossible.
Think about it.
Just because it is your way does not mean its the only way.

I can understand how what I have up may offend you and I'm sorry you feel that way - Jesus himself was a great person and had a beautiful message.
But in my opinion his followers twisted his words for their own power and profit.
The Christian movement as a whole is corrupt, not the individual Christians.

Quick fact tho.

You realize that homosexuality has been scientifically proven to exist among animals? there've been cases of wolf packs with male-male couples, and female-female.
They dont seem to have a problem with it.

Often times, its a mental thing, bio chemistry and all. People can't help being attracted to certain things...

Followin your coke-pepsi line of thought.. Most straight men would find it hard to be attracted to a 500 pound woman. No matter how hard they try, its the persons physical characteristics that will prevent a serious attraction.
Same idea here. Personally, No way will i ever be attracted sexually towards a male, but i have no problem with people being gay... as long as they don't impose on me, or be purposely irritating. =D

That was just the first example that came to mind... wasnt' tryin to be literal.

The Gay population is actually far far FAAR smaller than the media would have you believe. Most people will say like, 1 out of 10 males is gay, when in fact its closer to 1 out of every 500. And i'm assuming its about the same for women.

Either way, it harms no one, and it is the way they're engineered. Can you really fault them for being born?

and Seeing as i have spent most of my life in "Underdeveloped countries", and have met Gay couples who have no TV, and have never even seen a computer...

Ahhh. I'm so sorry bout spammin up your journal. But its a slow night and you've got me really thinking...

Did you know that in some places like parts of the Amazon, or Mongolia, they've never even heard of the Bible, Christianity or whatever? And yet.. you get the occasional/possible Gay couple. How would religion affect them? Do they suffer and burn in hell for being ignorant?

yup...I'm "Paul situation Becca" lol. Taht's not going so great. But I know God doesn't want me to be with him now. I prayed last night and this morning that his will would be done...and then I found out he was going out with one of my friends. So...I'll just have to deal with it!
