WORK?! THERE?!

Feeling: alienated
I am sooooo confused. One day, my dad told me about this time when a friend drove him up a mountain with a paved road only as big as the car, and it shocked me. I was scared at first, because the road was REALLY narrow, and there were all sorts of twists and turns and they were lucky they didn't fall. But then I had to force myself not to worry so much. *** Later, after my dad came home, he said, "Come on, boys let's go for a little ride." I thought he going to show us the mountain, so I went along. Then we pulled up at the grocery store, and my brother started talking about me being able to get a job, and crap. So I asked Dad, "Am I getting job here?" And he says, "You didn't know that?" And thats when I lost it. He went. And picked out a job. For me. Without telling me. How the fuck do you pick out a job for someone and not even tell them they have to work??!!! I mean, that's stupid!!! I'm going to be a bagboy, a MIDGET bagboy, thank you. And it never seems like any kids my age work there. Only 40 to 50 year olds who never speak any English. This sucks. Why not McDonalds or Burger King or Jack in the Box? Hell, I would have even picked up dog shit for a job. But the last thing I wanted to be was a bagboy. And that's the one they picked out. Shit. Shit.

I don't think that everyone is, just some people. A rare gift.

Well then, tell him you don't want to work there and that you'll work somewhere else. And just remember if he says no, I think that packing away groceries is at least more dignant than waiting on people.

Huggers!
