Rain Jacket

I find you, watching across the bridge in the middle of the city we're on either side of each end The rain pours and all is black and white like film all splashes around me I am drenched through The sides on the bridge collide down to the pit of the river where it is black the moon is but a navy haze behind clouds of storm All I hear is the spraying sound of water on concrete like a drumming I cant hear what you are shouting But I shout back anyway I love you I love you I run to you across the bridge miles and miles apart we are and I embrace you in the rain

sarah's singer says:
There is a dream in my brain that just won’t go away. It has been stuck there since it came a few nights ago I’m standing on a bridge in the town where I lived as a kid with my mom and my brothers.
And then the bridge disappears and I’m standing on air with nothing holding me. And I hang like
a star, fucking glow in the dark, for all those staring eyes to see, like the ones we’ve wished on.
