[19] Forever

Listening to: Paul Simon
Feeling: alive

I was thinking about the term "Forever" earlier today. And that got me thinking about how much that word is missused. Of course, none of us truely know what "forever" really is. You hear teens going around saying "I will love you forever" and what not. Then you will see them with someone else a month later saying the exact same thing. does "Forever" hold different meanings for different people? To me, "Forever" is something I will never be able to experience. Forever is too much of a strong word to use in the world today. Because almost nothing is in our control. It's not our choice whether we get hit by a train or get diagnosed with a fatal disease. So how can me ever know what "Forever" really means, when we can't even know we'll see tomorror?
