Thirty

Feeling: bored
Saw Match Point today, it was decent. It wasn't as great as I thought it would be, but it was pretty good. Um.. it was pretty much the plot of Crime and Punishment but with more sex, and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers gets away with it. Acting was.. okay. It was pretty good on all fronts, except maybe Jonathan's (that bar scene where he's like interrogating Nola was just.. awkward). The sex scenes were... intense (possibly a bit too intense). Some of the writing was very.. bad. Well, just that scene where they are doing it in the field, really. There's some of those "trying too hard to be deep" lines, too. But I think I will buy it, it is Crime and Punishment, after all. I actually really liked the opera music, too. Um.. Tristan and Isolde got okay/bad reviews. I was so looking forward to it, too. Thought it would be great. Lorenzo Mata broke his tibia. I just.. ugh. The Bruins have just had the worst luck this year. It's so disheartening. They did nothing to deserve this. But they won't lose next Wednesday. They can't. That would just break my heart.
