Listening to: I'll Be Home for Christmas
Feeling: blessed
Sorry my posts are few and far between.
Things are mad crazy lately. That's the Christmas season.
Steve graduates in about 2 weeks. I'm so proud of him. And so happy for him. It's almost over, he's so close.
Girls, you missed out on a freakin' great snowball fight last night. We were all heaving firmly-packed snowballs at one another in the church parking lot, it was AWESOME! I love snow. I hate winter, but I love snow. It was so quiet and beautiful last night. Why does it get so quiet when it is snowing? It's an odd quietness that you only hear when the snow is madly falling.
I think I've had this journal for over a year now. Don't have much to show for it though.
Well, so far with the whole "Becca exercising and eating right so that she looks good in a bridesmaid dress for Kelsi and Grant's wedding" plan, I've done OK. Better. I've definitely been eating way better, and not drinking any regular pop. With working out, I just have to make time. Kari gave me her Tae Bo video, so if anyone wants to sweat, grunt, and probably pass out in the end with me, hey, let me know! :)
I LOVE CHRISTMAS MUSIC! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! Steve, on the other hand, doesn't like listening to it until, like, 2 weeks before Christmas. So, I am restraining turning the radio to 101.9 or putting in a Christmas CD in around him. But I warned him that, once he graduates, we will be listening to Christmas tunes in his car, my car, his apartment, my house and WE WILL SING ALONG.
What is it with everyone being offended when people say "Merry Christmas"? How is that offensive? It seems to be the big topic this year and it's just blown way our of proportion. There is SO MUCH more I could say about this, but I'm just going to keep my mouth shut...for now.
The plan is to go Saturday around 8pm. Is that a possibility? If you are not busy before hand we can go eat somewhere. Like um...? Stace
