wow...i pierced a guys lip yesterday...that is definitly something new for me...i know for sure we were hurting him....when we first started i was soooooo nervous...i mean shoving a needle through a human being's lip but we started off with this little ducky safety pin which we washed (several times because i kept dropping it) and stuck the thing through...he said that one didn't hurt...we got it nice a loose...and then tried pulling the needle out and feeding the ring through while bringing the needle out...can you say disaster...it closed up almost immediatly...so we poke another hole...same result...except more pain...so my friend bust's out his giant needles and i pick a fairly decent sized one (one i thought was same size as the ring) stick that one through and now the kids in pain...i felt so bad...but he didn't really care...well that one didn't work either...so i picked out the most monstrous needle i've ever seen...stick that one through and with a little working with the ring we finally stress it through...the kids lip is swollen like you wouldn't believe...and wouldn't have blamed him if he would've wanted to kick my ass right there...but afterwards i felt so acomplished...like right when the ring was peeking through...it was a cool feeling...now we have to go back and do it again cuz he wants two right next to each other....::sigh::
