Ashley and I wanted to go on a road trip to Boston this summer for 3 reasons:
1. So she can meet Topper
2. SO WE CAN GO ON A ROAD TRIP! (and see Boston!)
3. So I can see Josh
So I presented this information to my dad and he of course did not like the idea, "I need an itnierary of what you will do for those 4 days" he said grumpily. So i decided, this was it! I made a time chart and researched shopping areas and historical areas of interest in Boston and charted our activities according to the time of day, always making sure we were back at Josh's house by like 7, latest. Then I made an estimated cost chart and compared this to the costs of a trip to Ocean City, NJ and Baltimore, MD. I showed that going to Boston would be a lot cheaper.
I then printed road maps and did calculations to see whose car had better gas mileage. I typed this all up and presented it professionally to my father, who simply nodded his head and said, mmmhmm.
That evening I recieved a very professional looking letter that read:
Dear Ms. H,
After your presentation to the Department of Transportation and to the Department of Homeland Management, the departments have decided, based on the given information, to grant your request. However, we do ask that you sign a waver form and meet all terms of agreement.
Sincerely,
B. Karefil I.M. Watchen
Very interesting letter. The waver I had to sign was even more interesting. It read as follows:
I, _______, do hereby agree that I will not be out late without adult supervision, I will be with more another person at all times, and I will not indulge in any sexual activities. With my signature I agree to all the above terms.
And then...I signed.
Ashley....WE ARE GOING TO BOSTON! ;)
Do you have to guess?
Mitch.
