kazaa and lane cedar chests

Listening to: Senorita - JT
Feeling: grand
Time: 12:30 PM Stupid Kazaa. I'm trying to download Justin Timberlake's "Senorita" but all of the versions on Kazaa are all messed up! What is up with that?!?! I've downloaded and deleted 4 because they went all screwy. Oh well, I guess that's what I get for being cheap. This weekend was my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary. Well, actually, their anniversary is on the 15th but we had the celebration for it yesterday. They had a dinner and an open house down at the Diller Community Center (quite a happening place). Saturday when my mom and I drove down there, they were just leaving their house because their air conditioning went out. So we drove them to Smitty's in Jansen to get a new one. The people told them they would try to get someone out to install it same day but it would be pushing it. Luckily, though, they had their new air conditioning running by 5 (it went out at 2). While it cooled the house down, we went to set up everything at the Community Center for the next day. So the next day, the whole family went to church. "The whole family" meaning my grandparents; my mom, my sister, and I; my aunt, uncle, and 3 of their children; their other child, her husband, and their 3 children. We told up 2 and a half pews in my grandparents' small farming community church. I think there was maybe 50 people there total, but it was the earlier service. After that, we all hopped in our cars and drove to the community center. At noon, we had a hot dinner of ham and potatoes and corn from my grandparents' garden. Other family and friends were there too, totally about 40 people. Around 2, the open house started. I was stuck at the punch bowl for most of the time, except for at 3, when all the grandkids had to sing. My aunt also sang a song that she wrote for my grandparents. But after singing, I was right back at the punch bowl for another hour or so. Later when it slowed down, I was sitting with my cousins. We were playing with my cousin's son, who's almost 4 years old. We kept telling him to go get some more cream cheese mints. He would go over and get them from the table and then eat them. He must've eaten like 40 or so. My cousin Meghan was like "didn't you ever have one of those experiences with those mints? he's going to be on a sugar rush." I was like "yeah, until he throws up." But he kept eating and eating them. I wouldn't be surprised if he teeth now rot out of his mouth. After everyone had come and gone (around 200 people), we cleaned up and then all headed back to the farm. The adults all sat in the living room talking (boring!) but my cousins Meghan, Erin, Andrew and I all squeezed onto my grandparents' bed and were being really retarded. We had to hook arms so that Andrew and Meghan didn't fall off the bed. Then Meghan decided we should do the wave, so we did that for awhile. Then we made Andrew do the devil noise. It's really scary. My aunt tells him that that is the noise the devil makes. When he asked her how she knew that, she said, from the movies, like that makes any sense. Silly aunt Kendra. Later, Erin and Andrew dared me to eat two peices of bread in a minute. So I shoved them in my mouth but then they got stuck on the roof of my mouth and they were laughing at me. I had to pee really bad so laughing didn't help. Only I couldn't chew the bread stuck in my mouth so all I could do was dance around and try to say "I have to pee!" with my mouth full. I actually ended up drooling all over myself, which just made them laugh harder, and made me have to pee more. Finally, the bread unstuck itself from the roof of my mouth and I spit it in the trash can and ran to the bathroom. Erin and Andrew just laughed and laughed. It was a great time. I really miss being able to see my family often when I'm away at school. They get together usually once a month and I'm going to miss that now. Plus, I've been down to my grandparents' farm 4 times since the first of July and I'm going to miss them. Anyways, that's all for now. My mom took the day off work and she just got home with some Valentino's for lunch. Yum, yum! Oh yeah, and I've now downloaded and deleted 10 versions of senorita. I'm giving up unless someone has it and wants to send it to me. you know you love me ;)
