loves

I love Christmas. I love many things but I really do truly love Christmas. I love the song "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" even though it is slightly depressing. But it's a good Christmas song because usually Christmas isn't completely happy. Like this year, half of my family may not make it to Christmas since two of them had surgery this week. But it's still Christmas and therefore, still great. Joyfullness tinged with a bit of sadness, that's what this song is. **Note: The original singer of this song was Judy Garland in "Meet Me In St. Louis" and she made them change some of the words to make it less depressing.** Wonder what the original words were. I love going to the movies. It seems so stupid, a bunch of people stuffing their faces with fatty-filled popcorn and rotting their teeth with pop, staring at a huge screen. But I love going to the movies. I love the fact that they are always freezing cold. I love movie theatre popcorn (no butter, yuck) and cherry coke. I love the fact that certain parts of the movie almost make you deaf with their sound effects. I love scary movies that make you jump and happy movies that make you cry. I just love the movies. Today I did most of the rest of my Christmas shopping. I ran all over town buying stuff. It was great. Some people might've been annoyed by the traffic and what not but I love it. I don't mind sitting there, listening to the radio, waiting for the green light. Although I was mighty hungry by the time I got home. Got a bunch of good presents though. Woo hoo for me! hmmmmmmmmmmmmm . . . when I started this entry, I was excited to write but now I'm not so I'm just going to go watch Sweet Home Alabama until my dad picks me up for dinner. you know you love me ;)
