10.33 a I swear people, I just read all of your journals and you need to update! How am I supposed to know what's going on if you don't tell me via sitdiary? Props to Megan for updating and saying, in not so many words, that she misses me so much, especially those days when the closet eats me or we become gangstas. The rest of you, shame, shame! Now that I've said that . . . This will probably be my last entry until the middle of next week, when I will return from Florida. We leave tomorrow morning at the butt crack of dawn. My mom found out her surgery is at 7:30 in the morning so we have to be there also at the butt crack of dawn, eastern time. It's ok though because over the last two years of college, I've perfected the art of falling asleep anywhere at any time. Ask Megan, she's seen me do it. TP also has a picture from the day we went to Gregory's and I fell asleep curled up in a very small chair. Megs, your cure to boredom: READ THOSE MILLIONS OF BOOKS I GAVE YOU!! I started Lovely Bones yesterday, finally found it in paperback at Sams, and I'm about 1/3 of the way through it. It was nice, I took a blanket out to the backyard and read. It's so great having your own square of grass. No weirdo girls out tanning everyday here in my backyard, but yet, no hot guys playing frisbee, baseball, or football. Hmmmm, the down side. Yet I can go out in my death white skin and not feel self conscience about blinding anyone when the sun glares off of me. Now I must go mow the lawn. Hurray for my mom making my lazy butt work! you know you love me ;)
