Listening to: Simple Plan
11.22 a I'm sitting here, wasting time, when I should be working. The lab doesn't need me to work Tuesday yet so I am working 5 hours a week so far. FIVE HOURS!!! That is not quite enough. I think I need a second job, any suggestions? I have about 5 ideas so far but I don't know how that will play out. But only earning $45 in a week is not what I can live on. Especially if TP and I want to take a trip after I graduate. It will have to be a trip to Des Moines or something with my wages and gas prices as they are now. I went home this weekend and it was good, for the first time in a long time. I had enough time to spend with my family and I even got to see Caroline! My mom and I went to the Nebraska football game on Saturday after catching lunch and shopping with Care. I bought a new pair of Roos (khaki with navy and blue plaid -- hot!). Sunday, after going to church, I spent most of the day cleaning my room and I found lots of stuff in drawers and my trunk that I haven't seen in a long time. I brought back a bunch more pictures and frames and books with me to school. I also went to a movie with my Dad and my brother, who turned 11 on Friday. He's growing up so much, he's actually fun again, instead of being a spoiled brat. He told my grandma that I came home for the weekend just to see him, it was so cute. He remembers that I always come home for his birthday. Cindy and Caroline might try to come visit me this year at the same time!! I don't know if Ames can handle the three of us and the pink poodle for a whole weekend but it should be fun! Cindy is looking to come the weekend before Thanksgiving break that way she only has to drive up here and then drive to Omaha, instead of making two seperate trips. I'm so excited and that's over two months away!! I should probably clean my room and put away all the stuff I brought back with me and also maybe do some studying/homework. PS -- The Huskers won, both football and volleyball. Go team! you know you love me ;)
