ouzo makes better dancers

yesterday was ashley's birthday. i can't believe she's 17. it's like we've all been working up to being 16 and now it's over. but that's really not a bad thing, i mean i'm sure we're all past the deulsion that there's such thing as "sweet sixteen" or whatever. but we're just getting so goddamn old. emily turned 17 on the 7th, mitch will be in october...it's all like dominos. apologies for my pessimistic mood. i can't go to the unseen/a global threat show (not for lack of trying, in case that's what you think, mitch)and it sucks. gah. on another note, i went to greekfest yesterday. had fun, except for the 3 times aunt sue exploded into a completely unpredicatable rage at anne. but yeah i decided i want to dance at their festival next year. they're just line dances and they're not very fun to watch and i don't know why they do them for entertainment, BUT they're really fun to actually do because they go super fast and stuff. especially the zorba, even though it's a relatively easy dance it definitely gets the blood pumping and the B.O. in abundance. our interdisc project went really well. most people said our station was the best. which is obvious, since you get food AND you get to tar and feather beasley AND you go to see mrs. coryell or mr. kincaid on all fours being a plowhorse. i got back and mitch saw me coming in and i was like hmm i wonder if he notices i have chocolate syrup running all down my pants? that could be interesting, especially since while we were there our group was in a clearing where no one could see and just me and beasley were there first and we came out with him doing his pants up b/c he has to reach into his pants to get his cell phone for some reason. ummm yeah. so hopefully we get a good grade b/c we worked hard on that. some of us.
