so today was my FIRST dressage horse show!!! and what fun it was. i had to get up at six thirty because i had to be at the barn at eight... and you know girls, they take a long time to get ready.... actually i had my alarm set to 7:00 but i couldn't fall back asleep ;) the place the had the show was soooooooooooo gorgeous! there wasn't a lot of people there. it was kinda quiet for a horse show. dino, the horse i ride, was so good. he was extremely calm and perfect... me on the other hand was very nervous. my first test i didn't place, which means i didn't get a ribbon. but my second test was a lot better and i got fourth out of 15 people and thats pretty darn good for my first time. allison didn't ride until 1:00 so we had a lot of waiting to do... the paige and lorrie and gail showed up with Cooper and Schie so we had a little more to do. allison did really good. when she was doing her second test, a horse the was going past the ring spooked and freaked out and Dino just stood there and did nothing... so typical. paige also did really well. it was cooper's first show and he's only five. he was very good too. but Lorrie did awesome. and schie looked so good out there. i got a wicked bad sunburn i hope it goes away by tuesday. i can't wait for school!
